Dear saints,

We are pleased to announce that this year´s Iberian Peninsula Conference will take place in Torremolinos (Malaga), Spain. We warmly invite all the saints to join us for this time of receiving God’s word and blessing.

The first meeting will begin on Friday the 11th of December at 6pm, and the last meeting will finish on Lord´s day the 13th of December at 1pm.

The conference will be held at Hotel Meliá Costa del Sol, Bajondillo 11, Paseo Marítimo, 29620, Torremolinos.

The deadline for registration and booking accommodation is 1 October 2026; however, registration will close once the quota has been reached. Please see the details below for further information.

INFORMATION

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

We are very grateful for the interest in this conference and the support it has received from saints around the world. However, due to limited space in the meeting hall, priority will be given to Saints currently living in the Iberian Peninsula. Therefore, the registration form will first be opened to Saints living in Spain and Portugal. Registration for saints outside the Iberian Peninsula will open from 16 April. We ask saints in the Iberian Peninsula not to share the information page, the registration link or the hotel booking link with anyone residing abroad until after 16 April.

To ensure that we can receive and care for all saints in a proper way upon arrival at the conference, we ask everyone to fill in a registration form before booking their stay at Hotel Meliá. To this end, we will be providing the Hotel Meliá booking link in the confirmation page and confirmation email, upon completion of the registration form, not on the main registration page.

1. Registration

All saints attending the conference are required to register. The registration fee for the conference is 30€ per adult (18+ years old). This cost will contribute towards the meeting room hire, outlines, and other conference materials. Payment will be made online at the time of registration. Registration will be completed upon payment.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS CONFERENCE IS NOW CLOSED. THE CONFERENCE CENTRE HAS REACHED CAPACITY.

2. Dates and Location

The conference will take place during the weekend of the 11th to the 13th of December, 2026.
The conference will be held at the Hotel Meliá Costa del Sol, Bajondillo 11, Paseo Marítimo, 29620, Torremolinos (Malaga), Spain.
3. Accommodation:
This year the Hotel Meliá Costa del Sol is being partially refurbished, so only 100 rooms will be available for booking. Rooms are available at the special discount rate on a first come, first served basis
Unfortunately, the allocation of rooms that the Meliá Costa del Sol hotel had set aside for our group has been fully booked, and they are unable to provide us with any further rooms at the exclusive rate. However, they have offered us the same rate and package (accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the Sol Don Pablo hotel, which is an 8–10-minute walk from the convention centre. You can book via the link we will provide on the confirmation page and in the confirmation email once you have completed your registration form. For those who prefer to stay at the Meliá Hotel, rooms can be booked at current rates at www.melia.com or www.booking.com.
Unfortunately, the quota of rooms that the hotel set aside for our group has been filled and it is not possible for the hotel to grant us more. But there are still rooms available on the hotel’s website or on booking.com. Just Google “Hotel Sol Don Pedro” and you will be directed to the hotel’s website where you can make a reservation with the meal option that suits you best, or go to booking.com and search for the hotel name.
Unfortunately there are no longer rooms available at Hotel Meliá under the special conference rate. We recommend that those still seeking accommodation for the conference contact the hotel directly for updated information regarding availability and pricing, We also suggest searching for accommodation solutions in the nearby area with Airbnb or booking.com.

  • Meliá rate for a double room at single occupancy: 162€
  • Meliá rate for a double room at double occupancy: 180€
  • Meliá rate for a double room at triple occupancy (with a supplementary bed): 235€

* Check-in is from 3pm and check out is available until 11am.

All matters related to hotel room reservations should be handled with the hotels directly. The saints helping to organize the conference, La Obra MSPI, cannot mediate between the saints and hotel regarding cancellations and room changes. Contact information for both hotels can be found at the end of this letter.

4. Payment:
  • Registration fee: Payment will be made at the time of registration via online payment. No cash payments may be made at the conference venue.
  • Accommodation Payment: Those staying at the hotel will be charged to their card upon arrival.
5. Meals:
If you stay at one of the hotels booked with the exclusive rate, you will enjoy full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet (half liter of mineral water per person included), from dinner on the day you arrive to lunch on the day you leave. Any food or drink bought outside the hotel is not allowed to be consumed inside the hotel facilities.
6. Children and Young People:
There will be meetings for children (aged 3-12) during the conference meetings. We hope that parents will join in with this service. Parents must be responsible for supervising their children at all other times. Young people aged 13 years and above attending the conference should be present in all the conference meetings.
THE HOTEL RULES STATE THAT CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
7. Translation:
The conference will be held in English or Spanish with stand-up translation. The conference will provide radio translation into Portuguese. If you need translation into other languages, you will have to coordinate with someone who knows your language to translate for you. Please bring your own radio with batteries and headphones.
8. Public Transportation to the Hotels:
  • The nearest airport to Torremolinos is Málaga International Airport (AGP).
  • The hotels are within a 15-minute drive or taxi/Uber ride from Malaga International Airport.

10. Cancellations

Registration Cancellation Policy:

  • La Obra MSPI must be notified of all cancellations (via [email protected]) and, if it applies, Meliá hotel should be notified separately concerning cancellation of accommodation.
  • Refunds of the conference registration fee can be issued up to 1 month prior to the conference. Any cancellations made after the 11th of November cannot be reimbursed.

Meliá Hotels Cancellation Policy:

  • Up to 14 days prior to arrival – the client can cancel or modify their reservation free of charge.
  • Between 13 and 3 days prior to arrival – the first night will be charged to the credit card as a cancellation fee.
  • 48 hours prior to arrival – the total amount of the reservation will be charged to the credit card as a cancellation fee.
  • No-show: In case of “no-shows”, the hotel is authorized to charge the total amount corresponding to the room for all days reserved.
