2025 Iberian Peninsula Sisters Conference

Date: 7th-9th of March, 2025

The 2025 sisters conference will be held from the 7th-9th of March, at the Betania Retreat Center, in Ciudad Real.The deadline for registration is the 1st of March.

The first conference meeting will begin at 7pm on Friday. We recommend that everyone arrives by 5pm at the latest. The first meal provided will be dinner on Friday. The conference concludes Lord´s day after lunch. The conference schedule can be found at the end of this information.

1. Who:

For the purposes of this event,any adult sister, regardless of marital status, may attend. If, for any reason, sisters need to be accompanied by husbands or small children, any and all accompanying members must also register by each filling out the form, as well as all the sisters. Having said this, the conference meetings are not for husbands and children, nor will any activities or meetings be provided for them.

2. Prices – accommodation and food:

  • Lodging option A:

Full board per person for the weekend in the big house (MAIN BUILDING) from dinner on Friday to lunch on the Lord’s Day.

Adults: 105,00 €

Babies (up to 24 months): Free

  • Lodging option B:

Full board per person for the weekend in the modules (FAMILY ACCOMMODATION) from dinner on Friday to lunch on the Lord’s Day.

Adults: 120,00 €

Children (2-11 years) 85,00 €

Babies (up to 24 months): Free

3. Payment:

  • Registration fee: Payment will be made at the time of registration via online payment. No cash payments may be made at the conference venue.

4. Cancellations:

  • If you have registered but are unable to attend this event, please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected].
  • Conference reimbursements can be issued up to 1 week prior to the conference. Any cancellation after March 1 cannot be refunded.

5. Material:

“Lessons for Sisters,” 25-30.

6. Registration:

We ask all sisters to register as soon as possible. The deadline for registration is March 1st.. All registration requests made after the deadline are subject to consideration without guarantee of acceptance. Furthermore, there will be a 5€ penalty for latecomers.

Each person (whether it be adult sister, husband, or children) sea hermana adulta, marido, o hijos) staying in Betania Retreat Centre must register by completing an online registration form. 7. What to bring:

Apart from the usual, please bring the following items:

  1. The Holy Bible
  2. Hymnal
  3. Bedsheets with a pillowcase. Betania does provide duvets. Renting bedsheets is available (6 euros).
  4. Towel.
  5. Your own toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.)
  6. Flip-flops for the shower
  7. It would be a good idea to bring a flashlight.

8. Transportation and information about the Betania Retreat Center:

In order to arrive using Googlemaps on your phone, open Googlemaps app and search “Centro de Retiros Betania, Ciudad Real”; then, press “Directions”. The phone should then guide you to the retreat centre.

IMPORTANT: Each one is responsible of finding their way to get to Betania. Taxis are always available at the bus/train station. We encourage the sisters to travel together and to share transport expenses.
